Sukhdham, the sandstone mansion was built by the British in 1870. This heritage property was named as Sukhdham in 1922 by late highness Umed Singhji Bahadur. It used to be the official residence of the agency surgeon. In 1929, it became the residence of Thakur Prithvi Singhji, general officer commanding, the Kota State forces, who had earlier served with the British Indian army. Now the descendants of Col.
